We just can’t stop pumping out these posts.  Collarbones and their track ‘Hypothermia’ has grabbed out attention today.  Not only does it feature the very fine Guerre but this band is also hitting up some great tuneage here.  

Collarbones have recently finished the support band slot for Clubfeet and they are on tour with Owl Eyes at the moment too which is another quality supporting slot to get their tunes out to the masses.

It’s taken a little bit of time but this track to get some online momentum but it looks like it’s finally doing it now.  Australia’s Emma Louise and her track ‘Mirrors’ is an awesome track that is destined to crank up her presence across the pond in the US.

We did have very strong intentions of not posting many if any mashups or remixes of the new Daft Punk album tracks following the album dropping.  However, it’s very difficult when a) you’re being bombarded with those said tracks and b) it would be a shame not share some of the great ones.

A great one is the new mash track from The Hood Internet which is bound to get very popular very shortly online.

I just did a bit of exploration and testing of #Music  which is the new streaming music engine from the Twitter and We Are Hunted bods and I have to say it doesn’t really appear to be fair to ‘Unearthed’ artists.

When you can only stream a little bit of the track and if you connect your #music account to your Spotify account, it completely shifts the focus of who is listed according to whether you sell your tracks online via Spotify or not.

An example of this is Doe Paoro.  Her new track ‘New Lows’ is number one on the Unearthed chart on Twitter’s #Music.  However, if you have linked your Spotify account to your #Music account, you wouldn’t know this sensational artist even existed.

So.  We’ve unhooked our Spotify account to our #Music and when we find a juicy track and/or artist, we are actually going off to hunt them down elsewhere (via their Soundcloud accounts, etc.) so that we can listen to the full track.  That kind of defeats the purpose of #Music doesn’t it?

In short, Doe Paoro is definitely one to keep your eyes on.  Not on #music but here and watch out on Hype Machine too.

We caught the band BOY when we were at SXSW when we were waiting for Jake Bugg to play.  It turned out that BOY were a pleasant surprise and a bloody awesome duo.  One of the standout tracks they played was ‘Drive Darling’ which we’ve been on the hunt for to post today.

We’ve come across the remix from SonnSee and it’s just as awesome as the original if not better. A re-edit of the beats variety.
