We’re big fans of Groove Armada and after listening to the first track off their Red Light Trax EP, we’ve got to say that this is up there with some of the best work they’ve done. Tom and Andy have gone back to early 90’s deep house and boy have they done a great job.
As soon as we’d heard that they were bringing out some new material, there were leaps of joy in the air. But…and it’s a big but, this is not just new material, this is almost ‘underground’ type material that the average Groove Armada punter might not appreciate. If you are a lover of deep deep house music and the recent throwback sound of early the 90’s brought bang up to date, then you will love this!!!
The first two tracks of the EP are absolute stunners. We’ve had ‘The Pleasure Victim’ and ‘Oscillator One’ on loop and we just can’t get enough. We haven’t got a link of these to stream for you but get yourself onto Beatport to give them a listen.
