This might be the oddest pairing of tracks I’ve heard in sometime. Probably since the Mama Said Knockout Eileen mash. I’m not sure if the world over will know the Aussie artist Jonathan Boulet but most will know the track featured here by Q-Tip.
Either way, this year old track is quality!! Beat Mass have taken the intro of Jonathan Boulet’s ‘Community Service’ and mixed it quite sublimely with Q-Tip and a little bit of Beach Boys. This is a track that should be played in a Cabriolet car with the wind in your hair and the sun setting on the beach you’re driving along. Awesome.
I think this could be one of those summer tracks for us here in Australia that would get played over and over again…bring on that sunshine!!
