Everyday leading up to SXSW in Austin during March, we’ll be focusing on at least one band that we’re looking forward to catching when we are in Austin this year. Today’s SXSW Showcasing Artist focus is Gold Fields.
These guys were on our YMR Watch List For 2012 after we caught them live at Parklife 2011 in Melbourne. Talk about live energy on stage from an awesome band! We reckon 2013 is definitely going to be a good year for them and with their new single ‘Dark Again’ and their trip to Austin in March, it’s going to be a good one. Their new album ‘Black Sun’ is out Feb 26 in the US/CAN and Mar 8 in AUS/NZ.
