We love the mixes that Virgin Magnetic Material have been working on and we’ve just discovered two remixes of The Pixies that have been done that are absolute gems.  Diamonds in fact!!!

We’re always a little apprehensive when tracks that we absolutely love have the remix touch given to them as sometimes it can be absolute butchery of the worst kind.  However, before we even listened to these mixes we had complete faith that VMM would do the tracks justice and boy are these mixes good.  Subtle?  Yes.  Quality?  You betcha!!!

Shai Vardi’s remix project in the form of Virgin Magnetic Material is one of our favourite discoveries of recent times and we can’t get enough!
