I’ve just acquainted my ears with this sparse ‘lo-fi’ smooth R&B track by Frank Ocean and I’ve got to say that ‘Thinking About You’ is pretty special indeed.
Mr Christopher Francis Ocean has a great voice and together with the great key changes in the track and excellent production, this track is dynamite. Just enough ingredients to get the taste buds going but not too much to over complicate the track.
Saying all that, the beauty of a track with little in the way of beats, gives remixers plenty to play with and the Keumel Edit has a great place on my playlist at the moment too.
