We’re intrigued by Bird Call. After downloading the new track ‘Phantom Limbs’ from soundcloud, we are addicted to this track.
The first two singles from Brooklyn’s own electro pop songstress Bird Call are now available for download via the project’s Souncloud (links below). The tracks, ‘Miracle Man’ and ‘Phantom Limbs’, highlight songwriter Chiara Angelicola’s transition from more traditional instrumentation into the realm of emotionally charged electronic performance pop with a nod to the stars–or as Bird Call puts it “A grimy alien romance in outer space”.
Early last year Angelicola teamed up with producer Bryan Senti (Mark Ronson, Rufus Wainwright) and together embarked on a transformation in soundscapes and collaboration. The project’s forthcoming debut LP under the new sound Will We Get To Mars? is slated to drop later this year and showcases over a year’s worth of songwriting and production experimentation for the duo.
