This is quite possibly the last time this track will ever get posted on this site.  The reason for it (I’m sure you know already) is that Gotye has mashed up audio and video in Somebodies from YouTube user videos.

In all the ones featured, each of them a cover or parody of Somebody That I Used To Know. There are no extra sounds or effects were added to the mix, but Gotye did use some EQ, filtering, pitch-shifting and time-stretching to make the music.

Reluctant as I am to add to the mountain of interpretations of Somebody That I Used To Know seemingly taking over their own area of the internet, I couldn’t resist the massive remixability that such a large, varied yet connected bundle of source material offered.

Is there anything WDB can’t do???  Obviously not.  Although, I’d like to see him juggle and ride a unicycle at the same time on stage… either way I’m sure YouTube won’t be minding the publicity on this one.
