In a time when artists can barely put an album together of decent single worthy tracks, along comes Jessie Ware who not only pumps out quality track after track but she can also allow tracks like ’12’ to be left on the cutting room floor.
Here’s a demo of ’12’ that missed out on the final listing for the album but we can tell you, this would fit nicely on the album from the remainder of the tracks we’ve heard. In fact, this might be one of my favourite JW tracks I’ve heard.
I kind of wish we could borrow Dr Who’s Tardis and hop back in time to give it to Luther Vandross. It would’ve suited his vocals perfectly.
Get on it.
