Sometimes there are straight up awesome cover versions that have the ability to surprise and this one hits that mark!!! Sophie Ellis-Bextor has recorded a cover of Arcade Fire’s – Rebellion (Lies) and there’s no tinkering or tampering, just a good old fashioned cover!!!
However, saying all that, when you have a track done by in a format by an artist that doesn’t normally fit into that genre, it’s even better when the track does the job. Particularly this one. Outstanding stuff!!
