How good is new track ‘Untitled’ from Villette. This is a dreamlike soundscape of goodness that samples one of our all time favourite tracks ‘ Untitled’ by Interpol. Villette has done something spine tinglingly special on this one. It is both haunting and seductive.
Villette is the solo project of Siné Buyuka, a London-based electronic music producer and DJ who have supported the likes of John Talabot, Metronomy, the XX and Jan Blomqvist in her hometown Istanbul.
This is a tribute to my favourite band Interpol, sampling the iconic guitar riffs from the original Untitled that opens one of the greatest albums of all time, ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’.
Having supported Paul Banks with my previous act and having interviewed the band twice, I decided to showcase my appreciation of their signature dark tunes with this free download. Hope you enjoy it.
