Emma Hewitt – Colours (Armin Van Buuren Remix)

Emma Hewitt is on the verge of something big we reckon.  Her new track ‘Colours’ has been given the remix treatment by Armin Van Buuren and Jerome Isma-Ae and both the original and remixed tracks are smashes!!!

We’ve been big fans of Australia’s Emma Hewitt since the days she was in the band Missing Hours.

We had the pleasure of catching her live then at an acoustic gig and her voice was simply stunning.  So good in fact, that she really reminded me of an awesome dance track that I’d heard on a Hed Kandi CD a few months before. I dug out the CD when I got home and realised that she was in fact the very same singer that had sung on Chris Lake’s trance smash ‘Carry Me Away’.  What are the odds???  In the following months after that gig, she featured with Dash Berlin on the track ‘Waiting’ which was another mighty trance track and since then we’ve been hanging out for her awesome talents to find her true calling and bring us some more quality dance tunes.

So…that leads us to the new track ‘Colours’ that she has done which is a track that might just ignite that rocket and fire her up to the stars.  It’s definitely long overdue and we reckon 2012 is time for this star to shine!!!

The official video for this single off her forthcoming new album is out next week on 24th January.  In the meantime, immerse yourself in the track below and check out her many other awesome tracks too!!!  Watch this space for more Emma Hewitt news!!!
