Lana Del Rey Postpones Australian Tour Dates

Due to unprecedented international demand, LANA DEL REY‘s forthcoming Australian tour dates are to be re-scheduled.   More extensive dates will be announced soon.  All ticket holders will be given refunds and priority booking for new dates.

This doesn’t come as a surpirse at all.  We picked up in the last week that her SXSW show had vanished on the showcasing artist schedule.  So, as part of the cancellation of shows, it also looks like she will no longer be showcasing at SXSW in Austin.

The re-scheduling follows the release of one of the most anticipated debut albums in recent memory.  Born To Die debuted at #1 on the UK album charts and is currently sitting atop the iTunes Australia album charts in this, its first week of release.

We’ve been advised that the refunds for the Tues 28 Feb show at Oxford Art Factory and Sat 3 Mar show at The Toff in Town will be processed shortly.

If you purchased your ticket online or over the phone through moshtix your ticket will be automatically refunded back to your credit card/PayPal account. If you purchased your ticket from a moshtix retail outlet you will need to return to the outlet with your ticket to receive your refund.

If you paid a gazillion dollars on eBay for a ticket….not sure about that one.

Apparently, Lana is looking forward to her maiden Australian visit and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Watch this space for a rescheduled tour…more than likely in a massive venue and no longer in a small venue.
