Noisia – Tommy’s Theme

What is there to be said about this track?  What isn’t there to be said?   Classical dubstep drum and bass is all I can say on this one and there is no doubt that we love ‘Tommy’s Theme’.

We’ve always been edging nearer to classical dubstep with the chilled out sections of many a Deadmau5 track (Soma anyone).  However, this one edges us all closer to this genre with a great track that marries opera vocals, strings, dubstep and all things that work well together.  Image an entire ballet set to this kind of track?  It would be good!!!

Noisia (who took their name from the word VISION inverted on an upside down VHS tape) are Nik Roos, Thijs de Vlieger and Martijn van Sonderen, hailing from Groningen, The Netherlands. Influenced by an eclectic range of artists, from The Prodigy to James Brown, Miles Davis to Konflict, Tipper to Fatboy Slim, Noisia make music for DJs and dance-floors that is interesting enough to cross over from the clubs to your MP3 player.

An awesome track that takes us forward into great dance music territory.  Check out Noisia at their official site here.
