One word…. POND!!!  Two words…..TAME IMPALA!!!  If you don’t know Pond, but you know Tame Impala then you will be familiar with them as this is their alter ego project made up from Australia’s very fine West Australian band.

The Hype Machine are streaming and making available Pond’s album ‘Beard Wives Denim’ for all the peeps to stream and play for your ear joy and ours too.

If you haven’t guessed by now, you may realise that we’ve got a bit of a SXSW Austin theme going on and Pond are showcasing.  Off the back of this album we can’t wait.  If you are heading to Austin in March to catch the festival, make a special effort to catch these guys.  If you’re not, make an effort to listen to the album here.

Whilst this album is different to Tame Impala, it is still a quality quality album that we are looking forward to making a purchase of.
