The YMR Best of 2019 features our 100 favourite tracks of the year.
Unlike some of the other top lists on other sites, we’re not pretentious about it and if there’s one track you take away from it that you didn’t hear during the year, that’s fine by us as we’re here to put tunes and artists on your music radar.
Our planned Top 10 tracks of the year for 2019 were knocked sideways with a late entry for the year by The Chainsmokers and Kygo on their collab track ‘Family’ taken from the album World War Joy . It came out in mid December and blew us away and definitely deserved to take the #1 spot on our list.
The #1 was closely followed by anthems from Joel Corry, Regard, Duke Dumont, Lizzo and Charlie XCX, multiple entries from Nora En Pure, Taylor Swift, Black Coffee and Camelphat. An outstanding Top 100 all worthy of greatness.
2019 was truly an awesome year in music for home grown Australian talent and overseas artists and let’s hope 2020 continues the trend as we enter our 9th Year of Your Music Radar.
