It has taken me nearly a week to put my finger on it but now I know what Hopium’s new track ‘Cut’ reminds me of. Absolute classic Moby, that’s what! Stop what you’re doing and listen to this.
Pre and post Play days. This track is a soundscape if ever there was one. This is the direction that No Ceremony should have taken as this combines industrial sounds with a classical edge. Melbourne’s Hopium crafted something quite special here and whilst we can’t say too much about their project at the moment, what we can definitely say is keep your eyes and ears on these guys.
If hope was a drug it would come in the form of Hopium.
