Mr Frank Ocean is a fine talent. His contribution to the recent Kanye West & Jay Z album was pretty awesome and his ‘Nostalgia, Ultra’ mixtape which came out in February this year is damn fine ear candy indeed.
Many of the tracks are standout, but his version of Coldplay’s ‘Strawberry Swing’ just gets the juices flowing and the spine tingling. It is an outstanding track that should delight his many fans who’ve been listening to ‘Novacaine’. Bizarrely one of the most popular tracks he’s done and has been searched for online ‘Thinking About You’ (that we featured here a couple of months back) wasn’t on that album. We think that ‘Strawberry Swing’ is up there with his best and should definitely be heard by more people.
